Bleaching Oil has been a Cabot original for over 100 years. It is specially formulated to beautify and protect wood while accelerating the natural weathering process. Within 6-12 months after application, the combination of sunlight and moisture will turn wood to a beautiful, natural silver gray. Depending upon exposure or wear, evaluate restaining needs every 3-5 years. Coverage on smooth surfaces approximately 400-600 square feet per gallon; on rough surfaces, 150-250 square feet per gallon. Theses rates will vary depending upon the porosity of the surface.
