Tips for Hanging Wallpaper Murals

As with any wallpaper, before you hang you need to prepare your surface. Be sure the wall or door is clean, free from scratches, gouges, or holes, and that there is no oil-based paint on the surface.

• Size your wall in order to get the wallpaper mural positioned properly. To do this, draw a horizontal line halfway from floor to ceiling to align the panel later when mounted.
• Next, lay out the mural pieces on a floor or countertop. Make sure they are in their correct order.
• Prepare your wallpaper paste according to the package instructions.
• Apply the glue to the first piece of the mural carefully and uniformly taking particular care to coat the edges.
• Do not fold the pasted panels. Apply panels to the wall or door within one to two minutes after applying paste. There is no need to "soak" the panels in either water or paste.
• Continue applying pieces carefully, overlapping edges by approximately 1mm.
• Wait for a minimum of two hours for the mural wallpaper to dry. Finish off by trimming any excess.
